Pennie Post April 2015

As always, Pennie Post is the first subscription to arrive for April. Pennie Post is $11 a month and includes at least 3 stationary items.

This months goodies:

-Lovely Ladybug Birthday Card: This cute card says "Happy Birthday Lovely Lady" and is blank on the inside. It came with a red envelope to match.

-Bunny and Balloon Card: This card features a cute little bunny tied to a balloon. It great for Spring, and although it could be used for Easter, it doesn't necessairly have to. This card came with a matching polkadot envelope.

-Mother's Day Gem Card: Although Mother's Day isn't until May, having this card now guarantees that I'll have it in time. I love the color on this card and there is a matching purple envelope.

-Watercolor Floral Gift Tag: This gift tag is so pretty! If you didn't want to use it as a gift tag, it would also make a nice little note card.

My thoughts: This is a great spring collection! I can't wait to use these cards.

Pennie Post: February 2015

My Pennie Post subscription came in the mail on Friday, but I went out of town on a much needed vacation, so sorry for the delay. Pennie Post is $11/month and sends 4 stationary items. I have never received a Pennie Post that I didn't love, and this month is no exception.

The Goodies:

-Whaley Awesome Card: This card is really cute and the envelope even has a cute matching design!

-Pea and Carrot Card: I love how unique this card is!

-Keek's Paper Co. Valentines Day Card: Pennie Post teamed up with Keek's Paper Co to bring us this cute card.

-Love Coupon: This is a grown-up version of the coupons we all made in grade school.

My thoughts: Once again, I'm loving everything in this month's Pennie Post. Each of these items is unique and will feel special going to a loved one.

Pennie Post: January 2015

PENNIE POST is my very first subscription to arrive in 2015!! Pennie Post sends 3-4 stationary items a month and costs $11. This month the theme is "White Winter" and features Pennie Post's first screen printed cards.

The goodies;

-Midnight Polar Bear Card: This card is so cute. I can't wait to use it. The paper is dark, so I'll need to scrounge up a metallic or white pen. Where does someone find a white pen?

-Birch Tree Forest Card: This card is simple and yet so neat. I love the details of a forest. It makes me think of winter snow on the trees.

-Thank You Bubble Note Card:  This simple card has plenty of space for a nice note. Plus, the envelope is a pretty mint green. Can't wait to write a note and send it off!

My thoughts:  I have never received a Pennie Post that I didn't love. This month's cards are great. The two screen printed cards are super cute. Pennie Post is the best!

Pennie Post: December 2014

My Pennie Post came in the mail at the end of this past week. My first subscription for December!!

Pennie Post is $11/month and contains 4 stationary items. I receive mostly cards, and have also received gift tags during the holiday times. Every card comes with an envelope to match. I love it!

Through December 15th, Pennie Post is giving away free sets of 6 destination cards and envelopes with any Pennie Post purchase of $60 or more. Use the code PPGIFT14.

This month my Pennie Post came in a brown bubble mailer. After opening that, the products were inside of a clear plastic protector. The goodies this month are all super cute. I can't wait to use them.

The goods:

-Warmest Wishes Penguin Card: This card is super cute. Penguins are my favorite winter animal, and I can't wait to send this to someone. The inside is blank for plenty of room for a great note.

-Shimmer Confetti Note Card: This note is super sophistocated and is perfect for either the holidays or anytime. The gold and silver dots remind me of champagne bubbles, and the front of the card has a subtle shimmer. This card is blank on the inside and came with a gold envelope.

-Patterned Gift Stickers (8): I can never have enough gift tags! The thing I love about these is that they will be perfect for holiday gifts or for gifts after the holidays too. I love that they stick on. No tape needed!

-Looking Like Xmas Letterpress Card by Elum Designs: Just like last month, Pennie Post partnered with Letterpress to bring us a beautiful card. This card is a very classic Christmas card, complete with a greeting on the inside. Written in soy-based ink is the greeting "May your days be merry and bright." This card is paired with a red envelope.

As always I'm loving Pennie Post. It is such a great bargain, and the cards are so unique. If you're not familiar with Pennie Post, check it out: www.penniepost.com.

Pennie Post: November 2014

My second month of Pennie Post and I'm still loving it!!

This month I used a promo code and got some free greeting cards that feature different places around the world. They weren't part of the normal monthly subscription, so here those are:

The regular monthly cards came in the blue envelope:

It included:

My thoughts: I love these cards! This box had a baking theme for sure. I"m excited to use them, especially with the holiday's being so focused on dessert baking. I recently purchased a yearly subscription to Pennie Post, so I can't wait for next month!!

October Pennie Post

While I was gone over the weekend, my October Pennie Post came in the mail!

Pennie Post costs $11/month and sends you 3 stationary items each month. This was my first month of Pennie Post.

The goodies came packaged in an envelope and then inside of a plastic sleeve within the envelope.

This month I received three cards.

I think all of these care are really cute. The candy-themed one is perfect for Halloween but would also work during another time of the year.  The "Hot Dog!" card is made of some kind of wood. It's light enough that I can probably use regular postage, but it's neat to have a card made of unique material. The "Trick of Treat" card is super cute. I just need to find someone to send a card to. Maybe S can use it to draw a picture in and send to someone.

I definetly will continue to subscribe to Pennie Post. I love all three of these cards and can't wait to see next month's designs.

Hello! and a little about me...

Hello All!

My name is Katie. I'm 25 years old and I live in Maryland with my girlfriend (B), her daughter (S), and our cat (her name is Xia, but we call her Meeper). I am a paramedic by day and a beauty addict by night. I didn't grow up with my mom wearing makeup. She has actually never worn makeup in her life. So, when I was in college, I discovered YouTube and watched a bunch of beauty gurus and learned to do makeup through them. I still love watching, discovering new people, and learning about new techniqes and products. Last night, B and I were talking about how I could turn my love for makeup into a hobby. She suggested starting a blog like one of the many that I read. So, here I am. I love subscribing to subscription boxes and I also trade on eDivv. When I'm not working or volunteering as a paramedic, I can be found waiting for the mail. I also like to go camping and for walks. We live near the water, so I love seeing the wildlife and watching the sunsets.

Some of my beauty favorites include:
Benefit They're Real Mascara (I'm currently obsessed and have traded on eDivv for 4 or 5 tubes)
Whish shaving cream- it leaves my skin so soft and smooth. I've also traded a bunch on eDivv for this. It was in the September Birchbox.
Bliss Body Butter- I love the creamy formulation that smells amazing and leaves my skin so smooth. Blood Orange + White Pepper smells like heaven.

My current list of subscription boxes:

Ipsy
Rockettes Fancy Box
Popsugar Must Have
Box of Happies
Beauty Box 5
Wantable accessories
Mission Cute
Dottiebox
Dottiebox Mini
Pennie Post
Blue Velveteen
Allure Sample Society

Until I typed them out here, I didn't realize there are 12 of them. YIKES. No one tell B.

I hope that everyone is having a fabulous day, and I hope the mail brings you something special.

Katie :)

PS... I pay for every single one of these boxes by myself. I am in no way associated with any of the listed companies or products. I receive no financial reimbursement for my reviews.
